Soup-er to hear from one of our favourite soup fans, Sue Miller! Thanks so much for this wonderful idea… and stay tuned from one more soup recipe from Sue in the next few days! Sue says:
I still love my Souptacular!  I was at my grandson’s Christening on the weekend in Ottawa and just before I left on Monday and my daughter-in-law put a pot of souptacular on for dinner.  I live about 2 hours from them and today it is dull and rainy.  I am putting on my favourite:  Autumn Harvest.
When I make my Souptacular Autumn Harvest, I use
  • Autumn Harvest soup packet
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 large tin diced tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup or so dehydrated veggies (or so, I just throw them in)
  • 1/3 cup diced onions
  • Leftover chicken, turkey or ham, chopped
I throw it all in my crockpot on low for the rest of the day.  If I have a hambone (my favourite way), I put it in at the start as well and then take it out before serving.  I cut the meat off the bone, and put it back in the soup.
I always put some Souptacular in the girls (3) Christmas packages, so now it is a family tradition.  Thanks for making the effort to get it to me on time in December.

That is our pleasure, Sue! We are proud to have become a part of our Soup-er customers’ traditions!
